Attach your writing as a .docx file. Work submitted in PDF or other file formats will not be eligible for review.

Please include the following in the body of the email:

  • Name

  • Age / Grade

  • Submission Type

  • Word Count

  • Animal Type

  • Animal Name

  • Story Title

  • Short Bio About Yourself


Are you a young writer?

If you are under the age of 18, you will need to include a completed Consent to Publication Form signed by your parent or legal guardian with your submission. This may be uploaded as a .docx file or PDF attachment.


Want to know more?

No matter the form: flash fiction, short stories, monologue, play, poem, etc. all submissions should be a minimum of 100 words and no more than 2,000 words.

Editors may make special exceptions / accommodations, and they will be more than happy to work with you on your submission.

As this book will be for all ages, please be mindful of language and content within your submission.
